What is Enabled Diabetes?  

As a type 1 diabetic, I am "disabled" because I am insulin-dependent. Diabetes comes with baggage like health complications and reduced life expectancy. Enabled Diabetes represents diabetics fighting back—managing blood sugar to the best of our ability, avoiding complications, and living a higher quality of life!

Enabled keeps you informed on how well you're managing your diabetes. You are updated throughout each day and at the end of each day on how well you  are managing your blood sugar. 

Our dashboard is the best tool you can find to truly understand where your management is at.

The main goal that is to keep getting better. Beating your past self is a difficult task and the most critical goal to aim for. We track how well we are progressing.

Healthy competition is great because it gamifies diabetes. Now it is about trying to rank higher amongst your peers instead of just surviving diabetes. 

Creating an app that makes it easier to consistently put in effort toward diabetes management is our goal. We reward your effort and remind you when it’s missing—because effort is the biggest factor we can control to make the greatest impact!
